We are thrilled to announce that video commissioned with the Havens has made a first in raising awareness of rape and sexual violence.'Where is Your Line?' scooped all 4 awards the British Advertising awards last night. More than any other film. The film was up against films with over a million pound budget, an incredible achievement. It beat the current heineken / stella artois / talk talk / VW and Nokia ads you see on TV in between coronation st and X factor!
It won -
Best overall Production -Best Director -Best Actress - Best Editing
It also received a special mention at the end with a full standing ovation from the audience and for what can be achieved with a lot of effort and talent on a modest budget.

Press Release
The HPA press release 29/11/2012 announced important findings regarding HIV in London. This included the finding that 1 in 5 of those infected with HIV in London are unaware they have it, which made front page news in some papers. This press release accompanied the publication of two HPA national reports, one on HIV and one on STIS and HIV in MSM. Both can be found on our documents and resource page.
Launch of Standards for the Provision of Sexual and Reproductive Care
The Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare have published its ‘Service Standards in Sexual and Reproductive Health, November 2011’ for use across services in the UK. This publication comprehensively covers all standards in an easy to use document and is based on current evidence of best practice. The presence of clear implementable standards is particularly important as commissioning arrangements change in England.

Afternoon workshops were asked to confirm support for LSHP priorities which will be revised according to feedback from the Forum. The workshops focused on the following topics:

2. 2012: Sexual Health Innovation in relation to games time delivery.
3. Sexual Health Tariffs - How to get from activity to payment
4. Sex Factors 2012 - Train the trainer on how to encourage Young People to upload ideas on competition website

Tariff Work
The London Sexual Health programme was successful in getting £66k from the Department of Health sexual health policy team for development of the tariff work. The London work is now designated by the PbR team as a project whose work is to be used to advise National roll-out and four sites out of London are being identified by DH to shadow the tariffs to advise local implementation.
FE College Needs Assessment
We are pleased to announce the launch of the first London Sexual Health Mapping and Needs Assessment of Further Education Colleges on 21 July 2009. This work is funded by Department of Health monies to NHS London and aims to recommend commissioning priorities to support the reduction of teenage conceptions and increase uptake of access to contraception, including long acting reversible contraception. It is part of the work taking forward London's first Sexual Health Service Mapping and Needs Assessment, "Sex and Our City", published in 2008 which is available on the London Health Observatory Website ( www.lho.org.uk ).
