Valerie Asamoah
Valerie Asamoah joined the London Sexual Health Programme in October 2025 as their new Programme Support Officer, providing administrative and operational support to the Programme Director and wider team. She plays a key role in helping the programme run smoothly by coordinating meetings, supporting programme governance, managing documentation, and ensuring effective communication across the complex partnership of organisations working to improve sexual health outcomes across London.
Valerie brings a diverse professional background spanning community services, project support and small business leadership. Prior to joining the programme, she worked in recovery services and project support roles for Turning Point charity developing strong skills in coordination, stakeholder engagement and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
She is also the founder of Valz Hair Studio, a successful London based business she ran for over 16 years, where she managed all aspects of operations including staff development, apprenticeships, customer care, and business management.
Valerie is passionate about supporting programmes that improve community wellbeing and is proud to contribute to the London Sexual Health Programme’s work to reduce health inequalities and strengthen services across the capital.
