Women’s Health Action Plan Workshop

On March 6, 2026, the Women’s Health Action Plan Workshop gathered leaders from across London, setting clear priorities to enhance women’s health citywide. The event was instrumental in the development of the Pan-London HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health Strategy, determining which components formally sit within the strategy, and which sit alongside, in parallel delivery plans.

The workshop identified several priority areas: preconception care, post-pregnancy contraception, improved abortion services (including a Londonwide booking system), pharmacies positioned as entry points for women’s health, and a strengthened voluntary sector. These outcomes will inform the next stages of strategy development and delivery planning, promising impactful changes across London’s health landscape.
